Kunai the 19th [Action- Nightmare Castle/Catchall]

[Obito will be operating under the same set of standards during both day and night. At night, there just so happens to be a whole lot more of the entire 'and then Obito rushes off to help someone fight off things in battle' thing.

You can assume that if he knows you, he's going to be checking on you, making sure that you're armed, and know how to use said armament. Or that you have a buddy to keep you from being bowled over and brutally murdered. (He's going to be so irked when he finds out about the Dungeon. He will, of course, attempt to rescue anyone there once he actually explores that area. Whether or not it's people he knows isn't all that important to him. Because Dungeon.)

He'll be dragging people he knows off to the Armory as needed. Oh! And he might maybe see no reason not to kidnap people with a pink sigil to get in those areas. Namely, Faize. But he's willing to help anyone that needs his blue mark! Just say the word.]

[Faize is definitely armed, he spent a good few hours in the armory sharpening and polishing up a sword as best he could. He may not be the best swordsman on his team back home, but damn if he doesn't know how to properly care for his weapon of choice.]

[He's made a habit of prowling the corridors at night, taking out any monsters that he can and trying to ignore the vaguely familiar glow they all seem to have despite their unrecognizable and varying shapes. These can't be Grigori, he's just imagining things. Pull it together, Faize.]

[It's like therapy, really. It's been nearly a month since he's been able to hold a weapon. And even a crappy one is better than nothing.]

[He's so far made no attempt at finding his lost Pokémon. All his research efforts during the day have gone into trying to find a way out of here, to no real avail. Perhaps his frustrations are the reason he's lashing out so viciously against this monster right now. Hopefully Obito plans to make his presence known before approaching, or he might just find himself staring down the end of a blade. Because Faize sure as hell isn't expecting anybody to approach him.]

[He, on the other hand, had already found the intense frustration that is the colored doors. And the fact that he seemed to not know anyone who had a pink one. Which wasn't even the slightest bit fair, in his opinion, because he wasn't what one called stingy with his 'knowing people' efforts.

Annnd there was one of said efforts. Apparently in a bad mood if the way he was fighting was any indication.]

Faize?

[Of course he's in a bad mood, he thought he made it pretty clear that he hates being randomly taken to places with no explanation whatsoever. This is just coming to Johto in the first place all over again, only creepier. But hey, at least he had his sword back.]

[Sure enough, his sword is raised when he turns to face Obito, but he lowers it all too quickly upon realizing that he's dealing with a person, not a monster. And as he lowers his hand, Obito may notice the pink dot on the back. Or perhaps not, it is a fairly small dot after all. Either way, Faize sure does have the color he needs and that will become apparent all too easily at some point.]

Oh. Hello, Obito. I apologize for raising my sword to you, but I'll admit this place has me a bit on edge. I thought you might have been another monster.

No need, it's pretty crazy in here. [He immediately shook his head.]

You been doing okay though? Some people here have been freaking out a bit.

Well enough, I suppose. I would have been happier had the armory been better stocked but even a rusty blade is better than no blade. And yourself?

[He hefted the thick chain coiled around his body.]

I came armed. But... I also came down all my pokemon. I found one! But... I can't get to the others...

Ah, so they were brought here as well? I would offer my assistance, but I'm afraid I wouldn't even know where to begin searching. The only creatures I have seen are those...shadows.

[The unspoken implication here: he hasn't been looking for his Pokémon. Whoops. He is the worst Poképarent.]

But...I suppose I can accompany you while you look, if you want. You were kind enough to help me on my first day here and one good turn deserves another.

There are a couple rooms I just flat out can't get into that have colored doors. [He lifted his hand to show him.]

I can only get into the blue one, and that had Tobi inside so.

Oh is that what these are for? [He raises his right hand, clearly displaying the pink mark upon it.] I'd wondered, but was a bit more preoccupied with properly arming myself first.

[He sheathes his sword.]

In that case, I will open the pink door for you so that you can retrieve your companion. Assuming you know where it is, because I cannot recall seeing it, myself.

I do! I know someone with blue as well I know will need your help the same way.

[Without waiting any further, he turned and started through the foliage.]

[And Faize follows after him, sword still out in the event that they come across something sinister.]

Alright, if all I have to do is open a door, that shouldn't be a problem.

You'll have to hold it for me too! When I let go of the blue one in closed in everyone else's face.

[He smiles briefly.]

Fear not, I would never purposefully let a door close on someone.

I'm glad, I'd probably be pretty upset to get locked in. But, you seem like a good guy. Taller than I expected though. [He gave a grin, shaking his head.]

[And that actually prompts a laugh out of him, albeit a small one. At 5'5", Faize is one of the shortest members of his crew. "Tall" is not an adjective he's used to hearing in reference to himself.]

You should see Bacchus, if you think I'm tall.

You're a little shorter than me, sure, but I figured you were like my height when I got here, but you're only a little smaller than me. [He gave him a bright smile.]

You just don't seem really big on camera.

[There's another small laugh.]

I think the same could be said for a great many of my brethren. I noticed that a great many of us did seem to be a little short compared to Earthlings. Though I can't say I ever fully investigated the matter.

I think it's because you're lanky, that tends to skew how tall people think you are.

I mean, thin people tend to be either really tall or really short so... it throws off the eye I guess.

[There's a hum that might be in agreement.]

So where is this pink door, exactly?

Right. Okay this way. It's kind of through all these trees so... And who has an orchard inside anyway?

That I cannot answer. The fact that it's on the second floor only serves to make it more bizarre, though it's highly probable that that this was a phenomenon which only occurred after the residents had vacated the castle. Especially given how long it seems to have been abandoned.

[He then proceeds to launch into a lengthy explanation about how such a biological feat is possible. It's overly scientific, jargon-filled, and probably more than Obito ever wanted to know about the growth of plants. For the love of Arceus, please tell him to stop. Otherwise, he'll probably keep going until they reach the pink door.]

[He won't tell him to stop, he'll just shove his way back into the conversation like you weren't on a monologue.]

That's pretty cool, but I don't think this place is abandoned.

Oh? Have you seen inhabitants other than those of us who were brought here against our will? [A beat.] Well, other than the monsters, obviously. But I hardly think they count.

What? No, but there are locked doors. Locked doors no one can seem to pry open... and that only really happens when they're secured by someone, especially since this place isn't as run down as it seems like it should be.

Hmm...perhaps. Though it is possible that the doors were locked before the inhabitants left. Perhaps in an attempt to confine the monsters. But...

[His brow furrows.]

...I suppose we will find out one way or another eventually.

I just... don't trust it. Especially not since the creatures only come out at night and not during the day.

I cannot blame you for that. It's reasonable enough that they only would be active at night. They could be like any number of nocturnal creatures but...they seem to disappear entirely during the day. Either they're resting somewhere we do not have access to or...

[He trails off.]

Or I'm not sure what.

It's possible that they're behind those locked doors during the day is all I mean.

....

I don't really want to think too hard about the other options.

It's entirely plausible that this is the case. Though that would seem to imply that those doors would unlock at night. Perhaps I will look into that once we have obtained your companion from behind the pink door.

If they do, I haven't managed to catch it yet. Tell me if you manage it?

[And they had reached the door!]

Certainly, I'll let you know. [Faize comes to a stop in front of the door, staring at it before raising his left, sigil-marked hand.]

I just...open the door, like any regular door, right?

[Yes, apparently so. Damn look at that fairy bedroom. Faize peeks inside, his uncertain expression only intensifying. He gestures inside the door.] After you, then.

[Since he needs to hold the door open, apparently.]

[He nodded, then slipped inside, looking around and wrinkling his nose.]

Wow. Very... feminine.

Yes it...certainly is. [Faize steps in after him, allowing the door to close behind them. He looks around the room.]

Though I am not seeing another living creature in here beyond ourselves.

Not surprising.... [That said, he promptly went hunting for the pokeball niche in the room, making a sound of victory when he located it.]

Over here!

[As Obito searches, Faize stays more or less rooted in place, watching the boy move around the room. He's...not exactly sure what he should be doing here. But Obito clearly does and all Faize was here for was to open a door anyway so...his part in all this is done. Or so he thinks.]

[When Obito beckons, however, he moves to stand behind him.]

You found it?

Yep! [He pulled his pokeball and waved him pointedly toward the spot.]

Okay now you.

Now me what?

[He just...stares skeptically at the bed. Where did Obito even find the ball, he must have blinked for that part or something. He's just seeing a girly pink bed.]

Now you take yours.

[He pointed him to where he'd just gotten the ball.]

Oh! Right okay um... [Faize leans down against the floor and, sure enough, there's a Pokéball under the bed. He reaches out and takes it, getting back up to his feet and staring down at it, rolling it around a little in his hand.]

Is...that all?

[Was it really that straightforward?]

So far I've seen... yeah, that's all. [He gave a little shrug.]

I had someone in every room myself.

Someone referring to a Pokémon, in this case? I don't think I need to worry about that.

[He shifts the ball between his hands.]

I only have one, after all.

Then you're lucky. I have many, though... hopefully only three came here with me. I wouldn't want to inflict this place on the others.
