That's the idea. I figure Lucky or Zan or one of the others will get any intruders before we can even get out of bed, but they'd need more warning than just their hearing can give. [She kicks a can, sending the entire string clattering over the ocean waves. Nobody would sleep through that.]

Anyone with a hint of skill would be able to spot those and get around them. You need something more subtle. No worries though, I have a lot of practice at this from setting up camp.

Considering I intend to put a tension release on it, it'll be painful enough to make the person likely to vocalize their hurt. If you want deadly we need a whole nother approach to the traps.
