[There is a lot of rustling around, and finally a bit of a clatter before any kind of visual turns on... and the first thing everyone sees is a rather smug looking Zoroark, one who looks like he's about to launch into trying to communicate with you all before Obito's voice is heard in the background.]

OI! Henge! Flip that around okay?

[Huffing, the gear is turned around, and Obito is shown standing fairly deep into mountain of carefully sorted eggs, which have sticky notes slapped on all of them saying what they are. He gave everyone a little wave once the gear was turned on him.]

So I had this brilliant plan to breed up some eggs so that I could try and help supplement the household funds, what with there being so many of us to feed and shelter and whatnot right? But I er, might've sorta kinda forgot that when my pokemon have babies they're really enthusiastic about it.

So I'm selling them all! [He waved his arms to encompass the room.]

Also, for those of you not interested in eggs, which would make me sad but hey, I can handle it, how many of you have had to get a handle on how you feel about people showing up from home and knowing that... all isn't well and there's nothing you can do about it?

Like, really really nothing you could do, even if you went home right this second.

Er... a whole bunch. Like, that section over there. [Indicating like nearly a third of the eggs.] I promise I didn't intend for them to go after yours, they just went, er, overboard.

But hey, I'll split the profits? Unless you want to keep them! I can totally give them to you if you want to keep them.

[Whole that's a whole bunch of eggs.]

..Keep them? [She looks down at the egg in her hands.] I think that's out of the picture.

I wouldn't mind taking some of the money though. I'm taking of doing some errands once I have enough money.

That's...quite a bit of eggs there. What are those purplish ones of?

I'll totally make sure to set some money aside from the sales for you then! Are there any you really want though? I have all kinds of breeds.

Uhhh...

[Give him a minute while he picks one up and turns it around so the sticky note faces the camera. Purrloin?] You meant this one right?

Remember the conditions, kid: I get a couple of the tough ones, and you never, ever tell me the details of how this works.

[He couldn't help it, he laughed.]

I know, I know. I set some aside I figured you might like, I'll run them over to you this afternoon if you're still in town. Think you want any you didn't have a hand in? I have some variety!

[Blake scowls. This is not funny.]

No way. I'm only taking custody of the ones mine are...what, egg parents for?

[He looks disturbed] Am I some kind of magic dog pimp now?

[He was still snickering but he tried to reign it in for you.]

No you're not a magic dog pimp. You're a breeder though. Congrats.

[She waves her hand.]

No, no. I kind of already have a zoo on my hands. Thanks for asking though.

From what I've read, breeding them seems to be a very time consuming project. You don't seem the type to sit around for long.

I can sit still when I need to, and I can definitely stay in one place as long as it takes to do something like this. I'm not just gonna up and ditch em all or something.

[He's assuming it's some sort of ninja problem, but Gordon's not entirely sure what that entails.]

But... just things going wrong, then more wrong, in big, life ending catastrophic ways, and I know I don't even know half of what goes on.

Yet you're still trying to get rid of them. Isn't that pretty much the same thing?

What? No. I'm personally logging where every one of these eggs is going so that I can check in with them if my Pokemon want to look in on their offspring later, and I know that they're doing okay.

I see. So what happens to all the ones you don't sell? Keep them? Release them?

[Hikari couldn't help but be... completely confused. That was, well... a lot of eggs.]

You really should remember that for next time, Obito-kun.

[There was his other question, and Hikari didn't really need another egg right now anyway.]

But did something happen Obito? That's not really a question most people would ask just randomly.

Things haven't been great lately, but they're getting better.

I'm sorry to see that you've had to deal with things like that. I have no idea if they're comparable, but as a federal agent, I've seen my share of catastrophes and they're not something I'd want other people to have to deal with.
