[He supposes it is viable enough that the one who controlled the Juubi could also control the ones that made up the beast. Presuming he is in fact the one that currently did. Controlling the rampage--or even simply triggering it--would then make him responsible for their deaths.

As I said, you should provide both you and they time to adjust to the information separately, rather than aggravate the situation with your presence. As for your yourself, I demand you attend to one question first: Whether the name makes a difference in the kind of person you thought you knew.
