Second Kunai: [Video/Action Cherrygrove]

[Unlike last time he sent a message out over the network, there was no clatter. Then again, Obito was also clearly not the one holding the gear, which was rather low to the ground, the image half obscured by a bright green leaf. And there was shouting.]

Katon no! He didn't mean it! Cabbage! GUYS STOP!

[There is a dizzying moment as the gear is spun around, and the image is cleared of greenery, though it's wiggling a bit like the one holding it is laughing. Obito, holding a baby Charmander in one arm, is between his Ponyta and Deerling who look rather like they want to take a bite out of one another.]

This is way uncool! I -know- you two can get along. Is it Kiyo? [The baby charmander, who had a pretty impressive looking grip on his shirt, was lifted a little.] You were cool until Kiyo hatched Cabbage! Kinda. Okay maybe not so much, but you were learning to get on with Katon just fine!

And where's the other one..? Hyorogan! What're you doing with my gear? Wait!

[Thus, with the video still on, you finally get to see the baby Petilil as she makes a run for it with Obito's gear in hand, giggling all the way.]

Ah... Tenten, you're going to upset Feng. [ he's just going to place a hand on her shoulder lightly. come on Feng, back him up. ]

[She snarls a little, but the warning hiss of the Skarmory behind them flexing his wings is far louder. Something the smaller boy was doing was upsetting his trainer, and he was able to lunge.

Instead, she turns and puts on a hand on the bird's beak, trying to soothe him.]

Yeah... you're right, Joonhee-niisan, sorry. [She glares back over her shoulder at Obito.] Later, I'm going to spar with you. No Pokémon, no weapons. Just taijutsu.

What? Why? I didn't do anything! Gah you're cranky!

[He huffed, then shook his head, turning to go fuss over his two male pokemon.]

Actually. [ he thinks fighting (or sparring or whatever) wouldn't accomplish much but he doesn't think saying that would do much good. ]

I was thinking of letting Doraji out and giving her and Yoonjae a chance to exercise a bit. I was hoping you'd come with me since Yoonjae and Doraji are a bit more delicate than Feng, just in case something happens. [ have a distraction. is it too obvious? ]

I thought it'd be a good chance to help all of them get along better too. Maybe Obito you could come too, it can be a chance for the babies to get used to each other. [ and help you two get along better. ]

[She has her mouth open to protest further or issue another challenge when Joonhee speaks, then she puffs out her cheek in almost a pout. No way would she turn down a request from him after she'd just said all that stuff about helping him out!]

This isn't over, [she promises Obito before giving Yoonjae a smile. It takes another moment before Feng settles back down, giving Obito the glare that Tenten didn't bother to.]

But yeah, it'll be good for Kama to get out some, too. He seemed pretty restless the last time I did, after all... [She narrowed her eyes at Obito, then shrugged.] Yeah, sure, you should come too. Get them used to other Pokémon.

Hey! They do get used to other pokemon! They get along with Sync just fine and he's not even mine! Just... the babies are really young.

[Watch him rifle through his things.] Lemme leave Rin a note, if anyone shows up for us or anything he can come get me.

[ they're ninjas but watching this Joonhee just thinks, 'wow, so they're still kids afterall.' ] It'll be a good chance for all of them to get to know each other, I think.

[ at this point he's less worried about the pokémon and more about you two. ] We don't have to go far, so it should be easy for him to come find you.

As long as they get us to Sasuke-kun and those other three. [She nods and focuses her attention on Feng, making soft cooing sounds at him to make sure he stays calm.]

It'll be good to get to see Doraji again, that one's cute, too~

[Cute in a conventional way, not in a razorbird way.]

[He left a note anyway, looking around and slapping it on a book that Rin had been paging through recently. That ought to do it. Then he gathered up his collection, one baby under his arm, the other still clinging to his shirt, and headed for the door.]

C'mon guys, time for you to run around outside the courtyard of this place.

[ even though he's the one who suggested this Joonhee lets Tenten and Obito walk ahead. he hangs back a bit like a teacher making sure no one gets left behind. ]

Oh, I didn't catch everyone's names. [ he means the pokémon. ]

[She glanced back at him in a really? kind of expression before realizing he means the Pokémon, and glances up at her Skarmory.]

Well, you've already met Feng, Obito-kun. The other one I've got is a Sentret, Kama. My others are still eggs.

Lesseee~, Katon is the firepony, Cabbage is the deer, Hyorogan is my baby plant girl, and Kiyohime is my little dragon. I have Mokuton who is due to hatch in a couple days, Tai next week and Tobi who won't hatch til next month~

Sounds like it's going to be an exciting group. [ maybe he'll see how that goes and then decide if he can handle more than two himself. ]

I just have Yoonjae here and Doraji. [ Yoonjae coos a bit as if to say two are plenty the friendly little weirdo she is. ]

Hold on...

[She's been counting them off mentally on her fingers and frowns back at him.]

Have you even tried catching any of them? In the wild, I mean.

Well, no. I'm not that kinda jerk. [He blinked at her.]

I mean, I wouldn't go and do that after having been told to think of them like summons. Summons have -families-.

[ he's a bit surprised too.. ]

...do you think the ones that are caught are unhappy? [ should he let Doraji go? but then she probably wouldn't leave even if he tried to. ]

[She just gives him this incredulous look. Are you really a ninja, Uchiha brat?]

I don't know about you, but Kama seems pretty happy not to be running around in the grass anymore. Second I let him out of the ball after getting him healed, he was the friendliest little thing ever!

...Well, he's friendly to me and Joonhee-niisan's Pokémon. Him and Feng still glare at each other sometimes.

See, and that's not a bad thing either! I know a lot of caught ones -are- happy, but I dunno. I know not all of them are, I've heard of that, so I'll just be happy with my eggs for now, because I don't -need- to take anybody from the wild just yet. Later, sure, maybe, but not now.

That makes sense, it's good to do what you're more comfortable with for something like this probably. We're dealing with living creatures after all.

[ he figures that's why he's so hesitant with the whole egg thing, everyone looks at this differently. it seems like they have plenty of time to figure things out anyways. ]

That space looks like it'd be good for them to run around a bit. [ he gestures to a general area not to far ahead, enough space even for all the babies probably. ]

[She makes another face, a quick expression before she buries it behind indifference. So what if they were alive? They were still weapons in the end.]

Yeah, here looks good! [she answers instead, crouching down to release Kama from his Pokéball. The little Sentret immediately lifts himself up on his tail and goes stock-still, staring at all the other strange Pokémon, before letting out an annoyed chittering sound.]

[Obito snickered as Katon ran ahead to pace the area, Cabbage hanging back beside him as he kept an eye on the pokemon Obito wasn't carrying.]

It's more than that. They're intelligent. I understand some pokemon can even learn to speak human.

[ he sets Yoonjae down and lets Doraji the hoppip out of her pokéball...keeping a close eye on them though in case Yoonjae decides to attack Doraji again. ]

I know they're intelligent. [ learn to speak like humans...he'd rather not have because then he'd really feel like he's raising a kid and he's not ready to be a parent. but as it is he kind treats them like young children. ]

I don't think I can look at them as another human though. Even if they're intelligent what they want probably isn't the same as what I want, so I just hope it's enough to try to be respectful and kind. [ this entire experience is just kind of like epic culture clash. ]

That would be pretty cool, if he could talk. [She gave Feng an appraising glance, to which the bird reared up as if to make himself look larger and prouder.] Like a parrot, maybe...

[She turns a glance to Joonhee and pauses to think about that.] You could be right, though. I guess that's the best way to go about it, huh?

[Meanwhile, Kama's made his way over to stare up at Obito, balanced on his tail as if trying to decide if he should go to all fours and attack, or just keep staring at him.]

More like a summon. Think of them like Summons, what with them having jutsu and all. Though I bet some of the critters aren't the most brilliant. [Have Obito meeting you stare for stare there Kama, totally not scared of you as he put the Petilil down to let her run off, Cabbage right behind her to not lose the baby in the foliage.]

[ he has very little to add to the conversation, he figures a lot of these things are things he just can't understand so Joonhee just focuses his attention on Yoonjae and Doraji.

Doraji doesn't seem to wander far though, drifing up to hide in Joonhee's hood. ]

Ahtch... you can't just always stay there.

[ he pulls her out and sets her back down next to Yoonjae, shooing the two forward. ] I'm watching, it's okay.

[ he glances over at Tenten and Obito's pokemon for a moment, curious to see how they'll all react to the added company. ]
