[There is a dizzying moment as the gear is spun around, and the image is cleared of greenery, though it's wiggling a bit like the one holding it is laughing. Obito, holding a baby Charmander in one arm, is between his Ponyta and Deerling who look rather like they want to take a bite out of one another.]

This is way uncool! I -know- you two can get along. Is it Kiyo? [The baby charmander, who had a pretty impressive looking grip on his shirt, was lifted a little.] You were cool until Kiyo hatched Cabbage! Kinda. Okay maybe not so much, but you were learning to get on with Katon just fine!

And where's the other one..? Hyorogan! What're you doing with my gear? Wait!

[Thus, with the video still on, you finally get to see the baby Petilil as she makes a run for it with Obito's gear in hand, giggling all the way.]

Yeah, and I have another one due to hatch in a few days too. It wouldn't be so bad, but Katon and Cabbage just don't want to get along. I think Cabbage misses his old trainer, but I'm doing the best I can!

Do you have any reminders of said trainer? Another Pokémon, perhaps, or simply a physical object? He might be happier with a keepsake, and more willing to open himself to a new team.

No, I hadn't even met him before actually. The closest I got is that my travel buddy has the same name actually. Rin was his trainer and my friend's name is Rin and I doubt that's at all helpful. Cabbage has been getting along mostly though. I understand he used to be the youngest.

Could he be jealous not that it's not the case anymore? I think that often happens with older siblings.

Well, now he's the oldest so... Maybe? I've been trying to get him used to everyone though! It's just, er... babies.

It could be that he does not like young children. Their relationship will improve over the weeks if that's the case, at least.

About a week and a half ago now actually! I have a cousin here who told me to wait for him to come get me but he's taking forever.

Travelling can take some time, before you obtain fly. And even that will not help if your cousin is in Kanto instead of Johto.

Finding new Pokémon to raise is always a good idea, unless you run out of space in the PC. You never know what interesting species you'll discover.
