[There's a pause as the Charmander, the oldest of the babies, comes to investigate and gets petted for her trouble.]

Ahem. Right. But I'm letting them run around before we head out, since a bunch of these guys are getting balled.

[With that, the gear turns off so he can get back to packing, but he'll be quick to answer if he gets a reply.]
