[Unlike last time, the video comes on to a face of disgruntled teenage Uchiha.]

So I know a lot of you guys out there know my cousin, since he's been here months longer than I have, and I seriously gotta ask you guys this. Why does no one travel with him?

Annnd that's the whole of it! Just wanted to know that cause it seems silly that he doesn't seem to have a travel buddy anywhere. OH! Right. Also, Uchiha Obito, Obito being my personal name. Hi.

[Then he clicked off the gear before his charmander could make a grab for it like she looked like she was about to.]

[This is her serious face, Obito, hand on her hip as she moves in once he's not on the 'gear anymore.]

[He blinked, thrown by the fact she was actually approaching him, and nodded, waving her in.]

Course, what's up?

First, to answer your question? It's 'cause your cousin's a jerk who pushes away anyone who tries to go near him. You think I elbowed him just because I don't like his face?

[He flashed her a grin.]

He's really bad at it though.

Oh no, he's fantastic at it. Want a rundown of the conversation? 'Hey Sasuke, I've got information that can help you.' 'My name's Uchiha Sasuke and I'm going to do something stupid.' 'How about you don't do your stupid thing by yourself, which'll make it less stupid?' 'No, I'm too stupid. Also you're weak and unimportant.'

[She does her best brooding Sasuke voice-imitation for his lines.]

Tell me which part of that sounds like 'oh boy, I'd love a travelling companion~' huh?

Sounds like talking to Kakashi to me. He said crap like that all the time, but it was usually more pointedly 'you're stupid and useless but you're on my team so I'll put up with you for sensei.'

[He rolled his eyes.] Which screams 'I'm socially screwed up and desperately need hugs' which Sasuke lets happen which means he wants them, by the way.

Oh no, don't try to pretend he's got the same standards for other people. You're different. You're family.

[Was that bitterness in her voice? Certainly not.]

Anyway, you asked why no one travels with him, I answered. More importantly, since you're the one guy he does want to stick around...

[She turned to close the door behind her after checking to make sure there was no one else in the hall.]

[Yeah he was pretty sure that her definition of 'want' was a little skewed since it was more that he didn't give Sasuke a choice...]

[She rested her weight back against the closed door, arms crossed over her chest.]

You know who Team Rocket is, right? I've got someone on the inside who was nice enough to let me know that that Bowser guy? He went and basically told every other Rocket that Sasuke-kun was involved in some mission last month, something that pissed off the other Rockets. He's in serious danger.

...Well shit. I'll have to arm him then.

[He sighed, but nodded.]

[She shook her head, arms crossing more tightly over her chest.]

Hey, we might not get along, but we're still of Konoha. If he won't let me help him, I can at least give those who can the means to do so.

Weaponry. I have some. [He shrugged it off like it was no big deal.]

Weapons? What kind? Where'd you get them, can I buy a set?

[That face? That was pure, unadulterated jealousy mixed with a kind of vague hope. There were weapons here she could get! But she just shook her head again at the mention of Tsunade-sama.]

I'm not sure yet... I'm still not all that comfortable broadcasting stuff over the 'gear, even if it is filtered. I mean, codes can be broken, right?

A friend made them for me. [He pulled one of the throwing blades from amid his clothes and flipped it into his palm so she could see, it was steel with a blue handle in this case.]

[It's beautiful... Her fingers twitch as if she might try to take it, but she forced her eyes back to his face. It's with more than a little grudging annoyance that she forced herself to swallow her pride and ask,]

Could you ask him to make me a set...?

[He paused a moment, then sighed, flipping it to catch the blade side and offer it to her.]

Here. Take this one. There were a gift, so I can't really ask for more, but use this one until you find and talk to him yourself, alright?

You're sure...?

[Not about to question it further, she gave him a sideways glance before reaching for it.]

Who is it? I'll return this to you as soon as I see if your friend will make me my own set.

Considering the level of illegality I'll contact him and have him contact you. Anything else would be a horrible breech of trust.

[A nod as she ran a hand down her own body, thinking of the best place to hide it, before buttoning her collar and slipping it away. In an instant, her collar was rebuttoned, and there was no evidence save by touch that there was anything hidden there at all.]

Look, Obito-kun... I might not like either of you, but you're of my village. If there's anything I can do for you or Sasuke-kun, I'll do it in a heartbeat.

[He gave her a wry smile.]

Same. You two are my subordinates, no good not watching out for you.

[She made a bit of a face as if she might protest... then settled for a frown and a grudging nod.]

I'm not calling you captain.

Is that supposed to be a preemptive strike?

It's called a joke. They didn't have those in the past?

See, if I go and assume you make jokes you'll probably punch me or something.
