The Uchihas were plotting a.. what was the word again.. a coup d'état. Madara told me about it and I spoke to Itachi too, he was brought back using that edo tensei technique I told you about the other day.

He killed everyone 'cause he was ordered too. Except for Sasuke. Sasuke knew too, after he'd killed Itachi, that's why in his future he's so determined to get revenge on Konoha. Because of what they made Itachi do.

Like I said- some of the higher-ups in the village made him do it. It as a secret mission, to get rid of all the Uchihas so they wouldn't start a war.

He wouldn't kill Sasuke though, instead he left him alive and didn't say anything about the mission, then he left and joined those Akatsuki guys.

Okay okay so that's what happened. Man, everything got fucked up after I died. Okay. I just have to figure out how to put that into things. Don't tell Sasuke that though. He'll just... break all over the floor and I'm trying to avoid that okay? He's still working on the concept that Itachi had to have a reason better than the one that he told Sasuke.

Once he can think of the idea of Itachi having alternate motives without having a meltdown, I'll ease into the idea.
