Kunai the 9th: Video, action for Olivine (if you're in the house)

[He was sitting on the roof, having had some issues getting up there due to interfering pokemon, but he'd managed, and he was holding the gear so pretty much all he saw behind him was open sky.]

So. No one gets sent a pokemon that's as powerful as it can get without special training unless they've vanished. I checked, and they did, indeed vanish. So this makes two people who vanished this month and another one I've been unable to contact.

[He gave hie eyes a quick scrub, then yanked his goggles back into place, his forehead mark currently just a strop of the cloth. No need to totally give up caution.]

I want everyone to know that this month was pretty crappy, and I really don't approve. Just so we're clear.

[Someone came back, and then she was gone just as quick, inadvertently taking another good friend with her. The only thing Vani has going for him is that he's not crying; he does look a bit down though.]

Frequently enough. This time, this world took a close friend away.

At least I haven't been here long enough to get super close to anyone but... I get you, a little.

Three years, at the end of this year. I don't disagree that you could understand though; it's easy to get close to people here, and have them taken away within minutes of speaking to them last.

I've been finding that. I never got close to people this fast back home. It's kind of unnerving, to tell the truth.

It's easy to trust someone who has Pokemon that trust them. They're intelligent enough to not stick around or be very fond of someone who treats them poorly.

Ahh, so Forever-Charmander-hime is a point in my favor huh? Good to know.

[That makes him snort a bit.] For you, it's more than just your Pokemon. You're earnestly friendly, not being friendly only for the sake of gathering information.

Well, yeah. Who trusts someone who only gets up in their space with friendly when they want something? That's creepy!

Some people are just that naive.

I just... that would set my alarms off, so I guess not everyone has them huh?

Yeah. Either way, it.. is nice to know someone upbeat without being overly trusting.

Couple people, actually. A guy I talked philosophies who was dead back home too and a lady I knew who was seriously hurting for a friend.

Mm, I see. There's always the chance they could come back, but this world is fickle. Memories don't always return.

I heard. I'm just... treating it as a passing for now, you know?

[Vani just nods.] Understandable enough.

A couple people have gotten mad at me for that I've noticed, any ideas why?

They deal with it in their own way and when the ways don't coincide with their own, they get insistent. All I can guess.

[That made him grimace.] Sounds like a way to make yourself unhappy to me.

It's just whining to me. [Shruuug]
