Kunai the 15th: [Video/Action Violet]

[Getting to Violet had been a bit of an adventure, with a few stops to let the pokemon rest, and to get together things needed in Cherrywood. Thus, it had taken a bit longer than strictly warranted, but they had still gotten back to Violet before the rest of the people they were meeting there.

Obito was honestly surprised this was the case, but had immediately put up the money for all of them to stay somewhere, since he had it, so that when the others arrived they'd had a place set up and ready too.

Now, with everyone finally assembled, more or less at least, it was time to let everyone he'd... sort of failed to actually reassure over the last few weeks know that he was okay. Thus, his goal when he turned on his gear, outside with his Charizard curled around his back as something to lean on, and a young Lapras in his lap.]

Hey, everyone. I know that over the last few weeks you guys haven't been hearing much from me, and I'd like to apologize for that.

There were some... issues with my traveling situation. For those of you I did talk to, I'm fine, and if I worried you, well, as you can see...

I'm good.

[If one ignored the bandage on his cheek, the bruise that was a brilliant color on his forehead that dipped down over his eyebrow, and who knows what else that was out of sight.]

Yeah, those walls can be dangerous. You wouldn't believe how many people they ambush every year. Wall-related deaths have skyrocketed this year alone.

[Well it could be worse, you could be bandaged up and also sitting in a hospital like Neji. Who has nothing better to do than rest, read, instruct his Meditite, and finally look at messages on the pokegear.]

Were you caught in some sort of cave-in? [He's just guessing from the kid's words and the bandages, but it's a hobby to puzzle these things out so humor him. Or assume it's concerned curiosity, whichever.]

This time, yeah. I'm starting to really have issues with caves.

I mean, first one er... [He took a quick look around, didn't find his teammate, and continued his sentence.] kills me, then I wake up here, and now... Well, now one tries to eat me, and then hangs onto me for nearly two weeks. It's ridiculous.

[He shook his head, tipping his head back against the charizard behind him.] I mean, I get that the universe has it out for me sometimes but this is just too much, you know?

Let me tell you this, if I never see a cave again it's going to be too soon.

[Well, that would explain the expression, simply a similar one to his own on another person. And that makes at least the third person counting himself--fourth, if his suspicions about the third war kunoichi prove correct--brought to this place after death and revived. Is it significant? He can't say yet, but it is noted all the same.

The comment about carnivorous caves is preposterous and therefore quickly dismissed. Still, after nearly dying by way of oversized organic arrow and then being killed by another more thoroughly oversized organic missile, he did understand the boy's sentiment about caves.

He gives a short laugh that might actually be mistaken for a scoff by the unobservant, and quirks a faint smile.]

Perhaps it would be best not to. I've heard a third such encounter is proof of one's fate being forever intertwined with something. [Not that he believes such things anymore, but still. It's an amusing thought, isn't it?]

....Yeeep. But it's been tended to. Repeatedly. I swear.

My teammate is a medic and she would have pinned me down and treated me if I hadn't gone willingly about it.

And Tsunade. Her too.

I'm starting to think there's no medics left in Konoha actually...

[ Even if there's a fair number of them, there's just something unsettling about Obito making that kind of remark. Stuffing it away, she gives a perplexed frown in response. ]

So you're with them? [ Not sure where she is right now WOE. ]

[He gave her a brilliant smile in turn.] Yeah. Rin was there and there's no way I couldn't go get her, and she had people with her so...

Here we all are. Shino is around here somewhere too.

Yeah, I needed to take care of something before I could meet up with the others.

[ Sakura explains in a quieter tone than usual. Actually, she needed a bit of space away from the group to mentally prepare herself for everything. The conversation with Tsunade was going to be taxing and probably the most difficult thing she'll have to do here. ]

Tsunade-sama, is she getting along alright?

[Dinah managed to find Obito first (though Minato wasn't far behind), the Audino chattering worriedly when she made her way over to him, ears turning and twitching as she tried to assess his condition. Minato had told his team he'd be seeking his student out after watching the posted video (taking note of the surroundings to pinpoint his location), and Dinah had taken it upon herself to sneak out ahead while Minato looked for something on hand to help treat the bruises.

Not that there was much to be done, especially without the use of medical ninjutsu, but a heat pack might soothe the injury, even if just a little.

If she didn't get shooed off by Obito or his team, she'd continue to fuss and speak with the other Pokemon to try and learn what happened. But even if she backed off she'd still fret from a distance, looking back over her shoulder and eventually perking up when Minato finally made his way over to join the group.]

It was nice of you to cover the costs of our rooms.

[He wouldn't immediately bring up the injuries, or their cause- surely Rin and Tsunade had already given him the third degree and declared him fit, else he doubted Obito would have been allowed to travel.

Still, he crouched down in front of his student, giving the bruise a bit of a narrow eyed once-over before holding out a homemade heat pack- uncooked rice sewn up in a decent sized rectangle of fabric. Simple, but it worked, holding onto heat and conforming to almost any site of injury.]

Afraid it's not quite a cure, but this should help the bruising, some.

[Dinah moved to his side after Minato crouched, tapping at his knee, murmuring quietly, looking between him and Obito.

I have the money for it Sensei. Being in a cave doesn't rack up the expenses, you know? [He stared at the pack for a moment, then up at him before a wry smile crossed his face.]

I'm not going to get the end of this fussing until everything heals am I? [He reached out for the pack anyway, given that Kiyo had just butted him in one of the still healing scrapes in 'encouragement' to do so. At least he'd had time to get some clothes that fit! That made him seem less ragged.]

I already had to put Tobi away since he kept making the most pathetic faces at me.

Afraid not, you worried us quite a bit.

["Gift" handed over, Minato straightened back up only to move over a few steps and properly sit down, nodding his head back a bit to encourage Dinah to join him instead of continuing to fuss over his student.

The bruises and scrapes weren't really the worrisome parts.]

Have you heard from the others you were... stuck with, yet?

I- no. [He gave a weak laugh and his gaze dropped to his lap.]

Find a guy just to immediately lose track of him again.

But you were able to see him again and find out he was alright, that's important.

[Still, it hardly seemed fair how easily people were separated here, especially after the month they'd all had.]
