[The gear may say Obito's number, but it is very definitely not Obito on the line... instead looking far, far closer to what you would get if Riku and Obito had a kid, come to think of it. Or maybe you shouldn't think about that. There are reasons why this is the look this particular person is sporting.

Have you guessed it's a pokemon? Because it is, and he's speaking very carefully, but relatively articulately, even if he does keep almost growling his Rs. And he was smiling. A lot.]

Hello everyone! I have been waiting and waiting to speak to all of you! For the best time! So hello!!!!

[He kept looking around, obviously a bit... paranoid that he shouldn't actually have stolen the gear, but Obito was training and he was sure he wouldn't be caught, at least, not immediately. Right? The Zoroark clearly wasn't keen on taking chances.]

[He looked so shifty at that declaration, and his response was rather drawn out.]

[Her eyes flick up toward a clock in the inn and she mutters something unintelligible under her breath.]

I have to go back to work. You and me are gonna talk later. Tonight after dinner service on the roof. And bring Obito too, because he needs to hear this, got it?!

[He gave a very canine whine, but wilted only briefly before giving her an almost flirtatious look.]

Okay, for youu.

[Well... that was compliant.]

Good. I'll see you both tonight.

[So by the time they go to meet her on the roof, she's already up there chowing down on her dinner: leftovers for whatever the other guests ate in a disposable cup.]

[Obito was highly confused at what was going on here, yep. Whyyy was Henge shoving him along like a directionally challenged child...? He finally stopped resisting about halfway there... then looked more confused.]

Kushina-nee, are you why Henge was being so pushy?

[She opened her mouth to answer, but it came out muffled as she had just filled her mouth. So she nodded instead as she finished chewing and swallowing.]

I told him to bring you up here so we could talk. Isn't that right, Henge?

[Her eyes focused right in on the Zoroark. She hoped the hint she dropped was as subtle as a pile of bricks.]

[Obito blinked slowly, looking from one to the other as the Zoroark hid behind him.]

I.. seriously missed something didn't I?

That's one way of putting it. You've got one smart Pokemon there, Obito.

[And now it's time to play games and dance around the subject a bit. Since she wants Obito to hear Henge talk instead of just outright saying it.]

Yeah... I know, he's one of the brighter ones. [He smiled at the Zoroark and reached to scritch behind an ear.]

So... if that's not exactly it then what's up?

And he's smarter than he shows. Or once you're busy. Hm... Obito, when was the last time you checked your... that... shoot where did I put it...

[She sets down her dinner and digs into her bag to withdraw her PokeGear.] This thing! The network on here.

Ah... not since this morning, I've been kind of busy with training since I have work tonight. [He blinked, then quickly hunted around his person for his.... only to be handed it by Henge.]

....

Ah.

[And Kushina's just gonna smile knowingly after shooting another look at Henge.]

[Obito looked from one to the other, then finally focused on Henge as the pokemon leaned up and said something into his trainer's ear, getting a wide eyed look.

For a second anyway.]

I KNEW IT!

[That gets a bright smile from Kushina as she stuffs her PokeGear back in her bag. And then it was time for talking between bites.]

I had a little chat with him over my break at work. [munch munch chew chew talk with mouth full] And I wasn't the only one. [swallow]

Yeah... [He looked from his gear, to the Zoroark, and sighed.] I have some footage to watch, it looks like.

Uh huh! [Sorry, she'd talk more, but she remembered that dinner is a thing that needs to get in her belly.]

[Henge, apparently done with this, quickly booked it back the way he'd come from]

Ha! Probably knows I'll know exactly what he did shortly. [He clicked his gear on to play things back, giving Kushina a moment to eat, and made a rather odd noise at hearing Rin declared a mother, worse when he played back a bit further and heard which Rin was meant. Oh maaaaan.]

Oh man, never again Henge...

[She was sitting close enough while she ate that at the mention of Rin as a mother, she choked and dug around for a bottle of water she had grabbed before coming up. But she was a bit distracted when the clarification came.]

[He moved and shouted after the pokemon.]

Did you hear me Henge? NEVER AGAIN!
