[The picture resolves itself at this point into a rather sheepish looking teenager, who is turning the device this way and that, clearly trying to determine which way was up.] I'm kinda new here and haven't gotten used to all the new technical stuff that this place seems to have. This thing is pretty sleek though right? Even if the road is pretty, well, snowy. And cold. But hey, I have Katon so it's not like I'll freeze!

[There was a nearly upside down showing of his Ponyta at this point before he finally settled on an angle, which thankfully seemed to be right way up as the camera focused on him again.] Anyway, I just wanted to give an all call and a hello to everyone out there and ask a rather uh, specialized question.

Only a few of you might get what I'm getting at here but, um, did anyone else seriously fail the whole climbing ledges class after getting here that I could have sworn that I'd passed when I was seven? I mean, I got down fine but... serious issues getting back up.

Thanks Hikari-chan. I mean, man, it's been weird. One named people are so much simpler and we have a ton of those back home so it's all good. Add a second one and mix it around and I don't even know anymore.

One named people? Wow, now that's a bit odd. Everyone where I come from has a surname.

Well, there are a lot of reasons for that. If someone is an orphan they usually won't have one. Or if they're from a famous enough family, they won't use it as protection. Or if -they- get famous enough they'll drop it sometimes. It depends.

Yeah. I guess.

Though where I'm from, there's just way too many people for anyone to not have a surname.

Well, there is that, but then you get groups like my family where ten people get named after the same person so that -really- doesn't help...

... Ouch.

Yeah, that's definitely not good. That must make any family meetings confusing.

Well, we all lived in the same village and there was oh... at least gah. Um. A hundred odd people?

Eh? Family. The village had way more than -that-.

Wow. That's a pretty big family to all be living in one place.

Well, we -are- one of the founding families of the village. There's a whole lot of other folks. Pretty sure the village has at least a couple thousand people.

What exactly is your village like?

It's huge! There's the clans, obviously, and then the minor clans, and then the civilians, so... okay so more than a couple thousand... maybe three or four thousand? I mean we -are- the biggest Village in the elemental countries. Then again we have the -best- Shinobi. I mean, my teacher is a -legend- and his teacher was a legend, and -his- teacher was a legend so, clearly I'm destined to be a legend too, yeah?

... Oh. I see.

That sounds more like a city than a village though.

Probably. It'd keep things from getting confusing about just how big these places are.
