First Kunai: [Video]

[The first thing that everyone hears as the connection turns on is a rather loud, painful sounding clatter which indicated that the Pokédex had just made a rather abrupt acquaintance with the ground.]

Ah crap. Sorry! Sorry everyone! [The picture resolves itself at this point into a rather sheepish looking teenager, who is turning the device this way and that, clearly trying to determine which way was up.] I'm kinda new here and haven't gotten used to all the new technical stuff that this place seems to have. This thing is pretty sleek though right? Even if the road is pretty, well, snowy. And cold. But hey, I have Katon so it's not like I'll freeze!

[There was a nearly upside down showing of his Ponyta at this point before he finally settled on an angle, which thankfully seemed to be right way up as the camera focused on him again.] Anyway, I just wanted to give an all call and a hello to everyone out there and ask a rather uh, specialized question.

Only a few of you might get what I'm getting at here but, um, did anyone else seriously fail the whole climbing ledges class after getting here that I could have sworn that I'd passed when I was seven? I mean, I got down fine but... serious issues getting back up.

Like, really serious issues.

Yeah umm - logic is pretty much nonexistent here. No climbing up them, you can only jump down from them.

Not that I've ever even heard of official classes for climbing ledges. They really exist?

...Why would you set things on fire?

[Sure, it happens in her world too, but uh.]

Actually, never mind that question because those options are entirely possible in my home world too.

What's a shinobi? It sounds like Xing's language for something, but I've never studied their language. Not that climbing classed don't sound like something that kids in my home town couldn't come up with...

[yes yes, sorry for all the repeating in questions and answers. Now she's trying to remember whether or not Ed and Al had climbing classes, pfffft. Knowing Ed? Yeah, that's -- entirely possible.]
usedwrench: (All these ideas~)

Well, considering how reckless the boys back home can be, I'd say the classes involved that too! [She's laughing a bit.

Oh look,, her eyes brighten.]

Ninjas? Yeah, I definitely recognize that word and know two - no actually, make that three - of them, but they're not here.
