Kunai the 12th: Video/Action for Violet

[There is a lot of rustling around, and finally a bit of a clatter before any kind of visual turns on... and the first thing everyone sees is a rather smug looking Zoroark, one who looks like he's about to launch into trying to communicate with you all before Obito's voice is heard in the background.]

OI! Henge! Flip that around okay?

[Huffing, the gear is turned around, and Obito is shown standing fairly deep into mountain of carefully sorted eggs, which have sticky notes slapped on all of them saying what they are. He gave everyone a little wave once the gear was turned on him.]

So I had this brilliant plan to breed up some eggs so that I could try and help supplement the household funds, what with there being so many of us to feed and shelter and whatnot right? But I er, might've sorta kinda forgot that when my pokemon have babies they're really enthusiastic about it.

So I'm selling them all! [He waved his arms to encompass the room.]

Also, for those of you not interested in eggs, which would make me sad but hey, I can handle it, how many of you have had to get a handle on how you feel about people showing up from home and knowing that... all isn't well and there's nothing you can do about it?

Like, really really nothing you could do, even if you went home right this second.

[Have a hair ruffle kiddo. Minato may not have known much about how this world worked yet, hadn't experienced the weird things that could happen, but it didn't seem like a lost cause to him. Not yet.

Yeah. That's why I'm so worried. What if someone like, ran off with him? I mean sure he knows some combat training but we never managed to set down and have a proper spar so I could see if he was good or better than me or worse or what.

Would something like that go completely unnoticed for such a long time? If people were being taken, I'd think it would garner attention eventually.

I don't know. That's why I keep telling myself he's probably okay you know? I know he can't die, so that's one less thing to worry about but just. Agh.

[Though he didn't quite understand how death couldn't happen here, the thought somehow seemed worse than if it could.

You could torture long past a breaking point.

...Not that he'd be sharing that particular line of thought with Obito.]

He's still here... that's enough to keep believing things will work themselves out and you'll find him again.

But I know that must be easier said than done.

It's gotten easier after the first few weeks, but it's still there, a nagging itch, you know?

[If any of the shinobi disappeared like that...]

But I know you won't give up. And I look forward to meeting him.

[Sensei talk for: I'm staying positive and hoping for the best. He couldn't really guarantee that things would work out, but even if the other Rin had been sent home, it would be better to know than to continue wondering what had happened.]

Yeah. So this talk got... really morbid didn't it? Because Rin's a great topic'n all but he's not really... around. I think you'll like him when you finally meet him though."

It happens, unfortunately. I don't think the eggs mind though.

Haha, true, though I really have no idea how much they can hear in there. [He petted one of them, putting it neatly with others of the same pattern.]

You should pick a few of these to keep while we do this.

[After all, he knew Obito was hoping to turn a profit. Taking a few probably wouldn't put much of a dent in that though...]

Nah, go for it! I've got a slew here so a few wouldn't hurt anything.

[He stood, making his way through the piles of eggs carefully, reading through the notes stuck to them to pick one out for himself.]

If you say so sensei, I'll take you up on it sometime. For now though... I just want these guys to have homes.

[He laughed a bit at that, bringing one of the Swablu eggs with him as he returned to his previous spot, settling it on his lap after he sat back down.]

Well there's one less you'll have to worry about.

[He flashed him a smile.]

I'm sure you'll take great care of it.

As long as it's not as ornery as you guys were we should be fine.
