[There is a lot of rustling around, and finally a bit of a clatter before any kind of visual turns on... and the first thing everyone sees is a rather smug looking Zoroark, one who looks like he's about to launch into trying to communicate with you all before Obito's voice is heard in the background.]

OI! Henge! Flip that around okay?

[Huffing, the gear is turned around, and Obito is shown standing fairly deep into mountain of carefully sorted eggs, which have sticky notes slapped on all of them saying what they are. He gave everyone a little wave once the gear was turned on him.]

So I had this brilliant plan to breed up some eggs so that I could try and help supplement the household funds, what with there being so many of us to feed and shelter and whatnot right? But I er, might've sorta kinda forgot that when my pokemon have babies they're really enthusiastic about it.

So I'm selling them all! [He waved his arms to encompass the room.]

Also, for those of you not interested in eggs, which would make me sad but hey, I can handle it, how many of you have had to get a handle on how you feel about people showing up from home and knowing that... all isn't well and there's nothing you can do about it?

Like, really really nothing you could do, even if you went home right this second.

[While most of that was gibberish he's pretty sure he caught 'name guy Rin'. ~~He married an Uzumaki kiddo, he pretty much has a degree in 'babble'.~~

[He covered his face with both hands. That's not going to muffle the words enough to quell the mortification.]

No. It's a silver haired boy, really smart, who didn't have a name that wasn't, you know, being used by someone here who looked like him.

So you told him names you were familiar with.

Most of that was pretty confusing (was it that strange to meet someone with the same name? even if they looked like you too...) but he's really not surprised at the fact Obito would bring up the name if someone was asking.]

It's kind of the only name I offered and he decided he liked it right off.

[He peeked through his fingers.] Probably because his name was Riku before, so it was close.

I don't think she'd mind. You were just trying to help him, right?

[She'd probably be embarrassed but...]

Yeah. He's really nice and... clueless. About everything that makes a person a person in fact. So...

[He gave a helpless shrug, lowering his hands.] I lost contact with him a couple months ago, but he's not gone so, I dunno what to think.

[Confused about what made a person a person? That's a new one.

First though-]

How can you tell when someone leaves for good as opposed to just going quiet for awhile?

[Obviously being around them in person when it happened but... they'd mentioned losing contact with Tsunade some time ago, and he didn't remember confirmation either way.]

You start getting 'not in use' reactions instead of just... the message going out there and nothing happening.

Yumi was in a coma when we arrived, could it be something like that?

Or do you think something happened to him?

I just... We had daily things we sent each other the first couple months then they just stopped. And he's super on top of stuff like that.

Like, legit, he's crazy detail oriented.

He could still turn up. His gear being active is a good thing, isn't it?

[Have a hair ruffle kiddo. Minato may not have known much about how this world worked yet, hadn't experienced the weird things that could happen, but it didn't seem like a lost cause to him. Not yet.

Yeah. That's why I'm so worried. What if someone like, ran off with him? I mean sure he knows some combat training but we never managed to set down and have a proper spar so I could see if he was good or better than me or worse or what.

Would something like that go completely unnoticed for such a long time? If people were being taken, I'd think it would garner attention eventually.

I don't know. That's why I keep telling myself he's probably okay you know? I know he can't die, so that's one less thing to worry about but just. Agh.

[Though he didn't quite understand how death couldn't happen here, the thought somehow seemed worse than if it could.

...Not that he'd be sharing that particular line of thought with Obito.]

He's still here... that's enough to keep believing things will work themselves out and you'll find him again.

But I know that must be easier said than done.

It's gotten easier after the first few weeks, but it's still there, a nagging itch, you know?

Haha, true, though I really have no idea how much they can hear in there. [He petted one of them, putting it neatly with others of the same pattern.]

[After all, he knew Obito was hoping to turn a profit. Taking a few probably wouldn't put much of a dent in that though...]

Nah, go for it! I've got a slew here so a few wouldn't hurt anything.
